Quilting Tips: The use of an extended base plate along with rice bags helps improve your control over the machine. This is especially useful when doing miniatures.
Bill purchased his first Gammill longarm quilting machine in April 2003 after leaving a career in truck driving. He started on guild quilts and was soon doing his own heirloom quilting.
Bill entered his first show at MQS 2004 and realized he was hooked on show quality quilting. His quilts have been entered in contests at AQS-Paducah, The International Quilt Festival - Houston, Colorado, Ohio, MQX and many more. He has completed over 600 quilts, won 40 ribbons and been featured in five magazines. Bill is also an instructor for Gammill Quilting Systems.
