This two day course is intended as both an introduction to CreativeStudio as well as a detailed study of the tips and techniques for using the Statler Stitcher and the features of CreativeStudio to quilt with confidence.
The first day of the course is an introduction to quilting with the Statler Stitcher including loading the quilt, batting selection, thread, bobbin and tension discussions followed by detailed, step-by-step guidance in planning your quilt and using CreativeStudio to set up and preview design elements. Learn to use CreativeStudio in both Stand Alone and Stitcher Mode with success you can take home and use!
The second day of the course includes a hands-on approach to creating pantrograph quilts. Master many of the features of CreativeStudio and the Statler Stitcher so you can return home with the skill to create and complete beautiful quilts!
Every student is sure to go home with new ideas, skills, tips, tricks, shortcuts and inspiration for their quilting business or hobby.
Class topics include:
Small class sizes, lots of hands-on practice and one-on-one interaction with the trainer will ensure that you'll use CreativeStudio in both Stand Alone and Stitcher Mode with amazing results you can take home and apply to your personal or customer quilts.
Gammill provides the fabric, batting, and thread needed for hands on practice. Handouts, snacks, and drinks are also provided.
Bring your lunch for a classroom “picnic” or enjoy getting out to one of the many nearby eateries for lunch.
Please bring a laptop for practicing in Stand Alone Mode. A limited number of Statler laptops may be available for use in the class, but can’t be guaranteed.
